About the event
In celebration of World Rhino Day 2024, join us for an exclusive screening of GCC’s awarding-winning documentary, RHINO MAN the Movie. After nearly ten years in the making, the film tells the inspirational stories of brave field rangers who step up to protect our precious wildlife. Featuring the Timbavati’s Anton Mzimba, an incorruptible ranger who sacrifices all for the cause, garnering the attention of Prince William and the international community.
“RHINO MAN HIGHLIGHTS THE IMMENSE DEBT WE OWE TO RANGERS, THE TRUE HEROES IN OUR EFFORTS TO PROTECT THE WORLD'S WILDLIFE." - Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, Founder (The Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Hope)
Proceeds from the screening will go towards a long-term solution towards tackling wildlife crime; education. All funds raised will go towards sending aspiring youth from the greater Kruger region to attend a transformative, 2 night/3 day experience at Koru Camp, giving local youth the chance to connect with wildlife, and ensuring the next generation has a vested interest in the continued existence of our national heritage.
The ticket price of R450 covers the cost of 1 nights accommodation and all experiences for a child.
The screening will include a Q&A session, moderated by RHINO MAN and GCC Director, Matt Lindenberg, featuring legendary field ranger and Head of Security, Orlat Ndlovu from the Timbavati Private Game Reserve and Peter Eastwood, the visionary Founder of Koru Camp.
The evening will include wine and light snacks. Space is limited, so book your tickets ASAP.
